As
you can see we are about embark on a journey from “head to heart”.
What we believe, actually believe, determines everything about our lives.
Beginning
September 13 we’ll begin a journey from head knowledge to the kind of
‘heart’ belief that drives the kinds of attitudes and actions that reflect
the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, perseverance and so much
more. It will be a journey toward
becoming an ever more authentic CLC, Changed (and still changing) Lives by
Christ.
In
Order to prepare for our hearts for this journey your leaders and elders ask you
to join us in forty days of prayer so that God can prepare the soil of our
hearts for his Word and His Spirit to do an ever deepening, transforming work in
each of us and through us in the community.
Each blog for the next 40 days will have a simple prayer that you are
invited to pray. If you wish

is Day One of our 40 day of prayer and this is today’s prayer;
“Ask
God to prepare your heart, the hearts of your family, and the hearts of the CLC
family to BELIEVE”
