  1. Thanks, Jeff. I just finished the entire Bible for the first time in 2013 - very sad that it took me so many years to do this for the first time, but so glad to have finally done this. My understanding of God and relationship with Him is on a new level. Anyway, I am doing it again and going Chronological this time through my new ESV Gospel Transformation Bible that I got for Christmas.

Another worthy endeavor for 2014 is to plan how to show my kids Jesus. A great article on this is at The Gospel Coalition today: http://thegospelcoalition.org/blogs/tgc/2014/01/02/the-new-year-for-your-children/

Some resources on our agenda with the kids this year (all but the last one are carried over from last year): Truth and Grace Scripture Memory Book - Book 1, Big Truths for Little Kids by Susan and Richie Hunt (it's a catechism with engaging short stories related to the questions), God's Names by Sally Michael, and Mighty Acts of God (A Family Bible Story Book) by Starr Meade. All available on Amazon. I'm still praying about their own reading plans and developing prayer habits.

Looking forward to your series on the Gospel and specifically how it affects marriage and parenting.

    Happy New Year!
    Trish S.
