Dear
Church Family,
In case
you missed the “Outreach Fair” between services yesterday I want to you to
know about the various local and international outreaches that God has led us to
be an active part of. Many in
the CLC family are personally ministering in these areas and many more are
supporting these initiatives with prayer, encouragement and financial
contributions. You are
having a profound impact for the Kingdom of God.
However
these outreaches do not minimize the countless acts of love and service that
every one of you for others. Every
time that you pray for a friend, offer a simple assistance to another, or stop
to listen to and empathize with someone who is hurting, you become “Jesus with
skin on”. Please never forget this
incredible verse. After
explaining how the resurrection of believers works, the apostle Paul goes on to
write this . . . .
“So,
my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work
enthusiastically for the Lord,
for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless."
